This exciting, educational performance is presented to you in our very own Studio K. In this state-of-the-art theater with up-close seating, students will explore the magic of dance through a lively presentation that covers the development of ballet through the ages. This fascinating journey highlights several historical periods of dance and many other important events.
Each historical period is explored in this 50-minute program through an entertaining and educational lecture and PowerPoint presentation. Students will also enjoy excerpts of dance works from every significant period performed by members of TBII, Tulsa Ballet’s official pre-professional ensemble.
Participating educators are offered a study guide containing background information, glossary and pre and post-performance activities! TBII's Journey through Dance is available to all 2nd through 12th grade students. Any educator interested or needing more information may contact:
